Manchester United, Chelsea Failed Falcao – Monaco VP

Monaco vice president Vadim Vasilyev has blamed Manchester and Chelsea for failing to “relaunch” the career of Radamel Falcao and has backed the Colombian striker to recover his best form with the club.
The 30-year-old striker spent a season each at Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge, where his failures to score or impress were well-documented before returning to the principality side this summer.
Back in Ligue 1, the former Porto and Atletico Madrid man has scored twice in three games so far in the young season — an early return that is encouraging to Vasilyev.
